Could I have picked a better day?
Today’s Friday the 13th, a doomsday to many, a day that’s filled with accidents and unlucky events. I’ve had my share of good luck today though. My exam went well, even though it took longer than I had anticipated. No worries though, I had studied it thoroughly to make sure I wouldn’t run into any problems hehe.
I received Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 yesterday and I must admit it’s fairly good, judging it doesn’t have any dedicated server or mod support to date. I’m just hoping the client-side hosting will turn out to be better than expected. As for now I still run into the occasional few laggers that start whining when they lose and bragging when they win. What I hate most are the Americans that are put into European games and who start spamming the audio chat with their habitual “y’know” and “like… like…” talk. It also struck me there is no physical chat room to send messages to in-game (before the map is loaded that is).
As for my life outside school and the videogame world, I still play guitar contrary to what many people say as well as some occasional random programming. My latest test project was a browser, but it occured to me that it’s not as easy as one would guess it is. Anyway, it’s weekend, time to kick some ass online!
