One more day and I can finally have some rest, sleep till noon and stay up later than I do right now. I hope I can enjoy my new TV by then. It’s quite sad to tell this but frankly, it’s quite a lame situation. I received my TV last Tuesday and set it up the same night only to find out that it’s a broken item. The image was negative (as known with pictures that still need to be developed etcetera) and was beyond repairable by myself. I had to call in a technician today to get it fixed, for free I hope, since it hasn’t actually worked for me yet, it was dead when it arrived.
I need to polish up my programming skills at well, to ensure I don’t get all slacky when college kicks in again. I expect next year to be one focusing more on analysing, programming and designing rather than sidesubjects such as economy, bookkeeping and how to manage a company. Gaming has been put aside again, just for now. I expect myself to be playing WoW again the entire weekend, it’s such a time consuming game
.
Posting during my lunch break, I forgot I could do that, so here I am. One more week to go after this and I hope it’ll be over soon. Not because I’m tired of working, on the contrary, I just want to enjoy my holiday a little before college kicks in again.
It’s also a matter of days before my new TV arrives, I’ll post some pictures as soon as it does. My PS3 will kick ass now, as will my pc, I might be using it as a monitor too, for both movies and games.
The past week I’ve been totally into playing World of Warcraft, is this the end of my shooter career? Who knows. I’ve been enjoying myself countless hours now with Max and Dan, or just by myself doing some quests and leveling up my professions. It really is quite fun to play in such a wide and open world with thousands of other players in the same realm. I started off as a Tauren character (big bull-like creatures that are like two times bigger as humans and elves), with my class set to Hunter, a ranged character but good at many different things as well. I do not know much about the game itself yet and even less about the specialities of each class and race but I will get there with some help of add-ons and other players, Max and Dan being there most of the time really helps when I got some questions or issues.
I’ve not really had much time to make some blog posts, mainly since I’m working from 9 to 5 and by spending quite a few hours on WoW. Still, I’ll be trying to post more often because I kind of made myself a promise to post at least once every week. As for work itself, my summer job ends next friday, so after that I’ll have a bit more time to get posting. There are quite a few things going on recently, things I rather not talk about in public, since they’re kind of private (girl problems, what else..). Since there’s someone lurking around to get his hands on something to make me “cry and whine”, I safeguard my own privacy and not post anything about it all. Still, that doesn’t refrain me from at least saying there’s something going on. Just for the people who feel I’m a bit moody lately or a bit more quiet on WLM/Xfire/real life when they talk to me.
Two more weeks to go and I finish working, racking me up some cash to sooth my mind
It’s been going fast the past few days, with another week being over yet again. I’ve got several things to think about though the coming month, just hope I’ll be able to keep my focus. As for gaming, I started playing World of Warcraft and I’m rather amused by it, not really what I expected. I’ve already hit the trial version level limit which is set at 20. I’ve stopped playing just to refrain myself from completing quests and earning XP that isn’t really added anyway, it would be a shame to do so.
Anyway, back to sleep!
Things were quite random lately, I couldn’t log in the past few weeks due to some weird password mismatch. Anyway, since this is all resolved now I can get back to posting, I need to catch up with the time I’ve lost the past two weeks! Not much has happened though, still I have quite a bit to share with the world. I started working on the 1st of July till the 31st, a full month, which will earn me quite some cash as well. I’ve been looking out for a nice flatscreen TV but a few days ago my mum said she might buy one for me, how cool is that.
I managed to get my pc back up and running recently and I picked up gaming again at the same time. I think I’ll stick to Quake 3 Arena for now and pick up Call of Duty 4 later on. Nothing much has changed in the arena, it’s still the same people I’m facing, infact even less than before. My community (Freezerail, slowrail/default rail in particular) is slowly dying, that’s all I can make out of it at the moment.
Oh, and might here be a girl in my life after all? I’ll see and know soon enough…
