Tomorrow will be my second to last exam, monday will be my last! Summer is closer than ever now, I just hope I will be able to enjoy it fully. Lately I’ve not had the time to post something properly as well as some downtime leaving me renderless. Not to worry, I’m back and will start posting again as much as I can. The person whom I get hosting from is currently busy moving to a newer, more powerfull server, so please do expect some unexpected latencies and/or downtimes during this process. As for now, I’m just going to finish off my exams and then start coding the Noghost server config creator I was talking about a while ago. Let’s just hope I’ll have enough spare time left for it as I’m working an entire month in July.
I will create a separate page for this sideproject so you guys will be able to follow my progress throughout the creation of this program. As for now, wish me good luck and catch you later!
Well the past few days have been quite busy for me, studying and revising continuously that is. I’ve had one exam so far and I’m hoping it went well, the structure of my solutions seemed logical to me, I just hope they do to my teacher. As for the coming one, maths, I’m really drowning in all the formulas but I’m not letting that get my hopes down. Generally, this week will be the busiest one, the coming one only has two exams and the last just has one (God knows why they did that). Back to revising!
Revised some Java today, whereas I should have done some studying for SQL. No loss though, I’ve still got the weekend to do that plus I’ve revised that a few weeks back so there’s no harm in waiting a day more or less. I’m just surprised everything seems so easy to pick up and study. I would’ve thought it would have given me the same feeling it gave me in highschool, the big feeling of not wanting to study because it’s boring and making me want to sleep. Maybe it’s because the things I’ve seen in college interest me and keep me busy :p . I’ve also started on a little side project I wanted to do by myself, it’s not related to college whatsoever but it might be handy for the gaming community I’ve been part of for almost 3 years now. I’m going to make a Noghost server config creator program, more news will follow soon. I’ve got to go now, I think there are quite a few good movies on display tonight.
Classes are done and over with now, time to hit the studying room and absorb that precious knowledge! I’ve sorted out all my coursebooks and papers and organised them in an orderly fashion. I’ll be starting on Friday though, I feel I need to relax at least one day after what I have achieved this week. I had my review today, of my Java programming project Battleships. Even though the game wasn’t entirely finished, my teacher was fairly satisfied as we explained which problems we had run into throughout time. I will be uploading the project executable on my blog as soon as possible, just need to make sure it’s finished entirely before I do so. Anyway, back to those dreaded exams, they’re the begin of the end, the last big obstacle, blocking me from summer and relaxation!
Well, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow are going to be the last days we actually have class so it’s kind of over after that. This excludes the examination period of course, which will be very important and timeconsuming the coming weeks. I’m pretty confident and relaxed though. Still I should be weary of some subjects such as Economics and Applied Maths. Let’s just hope all will be well in the end shall we?
As for the upcoming summer holiday, I’m going to chill out and relax. That is after I stopped working, I’ve been assigned a full month at my mum’s office. It’s a nine-to-five job but it earns really good. I’m guessing this year’s wage will be about 1500 for me. That big-ass flatscreen TV I wanted will be in my room this summer for sure! My PS3 will finally show me what it’s got :-p .
