Summer’s coming up, good weather is starting to arrive, time for a fresh start! Lately I’ve been having plans pop into my mind about redesigning my room. This doesn’t involve entirely redecorating it, I’m satisfied on that extent, but more of removing some furniture I don’t use at all and replacing it by some stuff I could put to use, such as a second desk to work on. The problem is though, my parents won’t really like me dishing out some closets that have been in here for over 10 years, so I’ll need to discuss it with them first. It’s pretty straightforward though, the biggest closet in my room takes up nearly 1/4th of my available space and it’s not put to use at all. There’s all sorts of junk inside it I’ve probably not seen for years or more. Removing it from my room would be the perfect occasion to start over a bit and get things a bit organized. We’ll see what happens, I’ll keep you posted.
Everything seems to be going just fine. I’m feeling well and everything I seem to be doing seems to go swell too. Let’s just hope it’ll stay this way for a while, I can really use it. Christmas is closing in quicker than expected, which also means I’ll be celebrating my birthday soon. Turning 21 may not seem that special but in certain countries and traditions people treat it as the true date on which a person becomes an adult.
I’ve bought a few new games a while back, Modern Warfare 2 being the most appealing one. I’ve not been playing anything else but it to be honest. World of Warcraft is not going to be renewed any time soon. My PS3 seems to be liking my new TV as the FullHD resolution makes it look like a real home theater.
Last but not least, my ex-girlfriend Lisa has been getting in touch with me again lately. I like her company and our conversations a lot but I don’t want to get something going again. Ah well, in the end it’ll all come down to a few simple things, which we can’t predict of course.
Things seem to have taken a swift turn as my mood has changed from near depression to utter happiness in just a few days time! I’ve been feeling a lot better the past few days compared to a few weeks ago, though I’m not telling you how or why this happened, I’ll keep that to myself (tee hee). As always, good times tend to never last long but I’m going to enjoy it for as long as it lasts! Things are going really well at school and I enjoy playing guitar again during my spare time. Regarding the upper, at school I’ve finally taken up the .NET course and I really must admit it’s a very fun and easy way to program something. It’s not just comprehensive and easy, it’s very quick as well. The latter, concerning guitar, has been very positive as well. I’ve started picking up some lessons to enhance my already known techniques as well as learning and improving any new ones I pick up on the way.
Got to hussle now, time to do some coursework!
Yes, I know, it’s been far too quiet in here but that will be over now. At least I still have the guts to post something new hehe. Not much has happened the past few weeks (or has it almost been a month by now?) but nonetheless I’ll still have my usual little catchup with the rest of the blog. As in most parts of Europe, university/college has started again and time to be online has been shortened big time. People are busy preparing for midterms or quarterly terms coming up soon (quicker than you think actually) as well as doing coursework for various classes. I’m just glad to be at school from time to time, away from my room (a place I’ve spent too much time at as far as I know and have been told). Last Wednesday I fell ill and I’ve still got no clue as to how or why. I’m feeling a lot better now but am slightly worried about my health’s condition and future. Maybe I should start doing some exercise more often or at least eat and drink enough to sustain my body.
My mum was also kind enough to book a trip to London soon, I’ve still got no clue when though. I’m actually looking forward to it since I really want to get away from home for at least a day or two. I just hope it’ll turn out okay and that we’ll be able to enjoy it. As far as I can remember London seems to be an interesting place with a lot of opportunities to go shopping or sightseeing.
I’ve picked up my guitar again recently, trying to start all over again just to nail the correct technique this time (I’m not saying I’ve been doing it completely wrong, it’s more like I’ve been slacking a lot of areas of guitar playing that are actually important to develop any decent skill or improvement). My beloved Gibson Flying V still sounds beautiful and, to my surprise, it was still in tune! I won’t be neglecting my first guitar, a Squier Deluxe Stratocaster, which has served me well the first year(s) I’ve played guitar. It has quite a nice sound when I play it on clean channels. Enough about the gear talk, I should be picking either of them up and start practicing!
Today was one of those days I decided to wake up a bit earlier than the afternoon. Usually I lay in bed till around 12pm-1pm before actually getting up and starting the day. Still, I kind of realised I miss half of the day just by spending the entire morning in bed instead of doing some more useful things such as tidying or doing some work to earn a bit of cash. It’s been two days since I last played World of Warcraft hardcore and I don’t really miss it just now, so that’s a good sign, right? As for the eBay and Paypal matter, eBay hasn’t replied yet and Paypal did as I wanted, they locked up my account until I send them a fax or email attaching an official document containing my address and name, preferably an invoice or bill. I just hope all is safe now, I’ve checked my bank accounts and no money has been withdrawn or used to pay for anything.
I’ll be trying to wake up early again tomorrow, just to do some more work and earn a little more cash which is always handy, maybe even try to tidy my room a little, who knows. The repair people (for my TV) still haven’t rung me back concerning an appointment to come and repair my TV, so I’m kind of starting to give up on that and feeling an urge to go down to the store and demand a new one. How hard can it be: I order a new TV, they deliver it, it turns out to be broken, I have to call the manufacturer MYSELF and make an appointment with a third party repair service and in the end it’s been taking almost three weeks with still no results at all. Quite frustrating don’t you think? Let’s just hope it all ends soon and I can get on with my life without worries, or should I say less worries.
